Ross NW is a small family owned and run business based in SE Portland.  Ross "Joe"  Bowen started Ross NW in 1999.  Before that he worked as the head of construction for Kurisu International for 4 years.  He began his landscaping career in 1975 in Phoenix, AZ working for the family business, Bowen's Inc.  Many of our clients wonder why Ross is known as Joe.  It's a long story... and involves an imaginary dog!

Ben Bowen is Landscape Manager and oversees landscape maintenance and repairs of irrigation systems and water features.  He is a third generation landscaper and has been working with his dad since 2003.  Many clients mistake Ben and Joe for brothers. I can assure you, Ben is much younger and thinner.  Ben is also more computer savvy, being the designer of this site.

We currently have 7 full-time employees.  They have worked with us anywhere from 5-14 years.  We pride ourselves on having amazing craftsmen (and women) and treating them well!
