East Moreland Modern Japanese Garden
This client (one of my all time favorites) started with an ambitious vision and then just kept adding to it. We started by designing a modern Japanese-inspired outdoor gathering space. Then we added a sauna, wood fired hot tub, and a cold plunge. Custom metal screens and gates added a sleek look and more privacy. The wood fences were supersized (to 7’) and given a shou-sugi-ban finish. The ipe deck steps were reworked so they double as overflow seating. And mature trees were sourced and planted so the garden felt mature from day 1.

The sauna is a custom design and build by Cascade Fence & Deck. I highly recommend them!
